Monarch is a pioneer and leading manufacturer of self-adhesive tapes and different types of foams well respected by its peers in the industry. The company has an illustrious history of over 30 years of experience in this line.
Monarch was established by the Late Shri Prabhakar Metrani (1934-2021) in the year 1978. He was one of the pioneers of self-adhesive tapes industry. Having an education in Science and Chemistry he had a sound grounding and understanding of the chemical industry. He started his career with Johnson & Johnson in QA and R&D, and the journey to entrepreneurship began from there.
Today Monarch is a full fledge manufacturer of tapes and foams. It is one of the few companies in the foam industry which is both forward and backward integrated. Our infrastructure and our technical gives us this edge over competition. The company has three Manufacturing plants located at Bangalore, Chennai and Pune with their own full-fledged QA and R & D facilities. All the plants in the company are IATF-16949:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 certified.
